Build 70 C++ error

Sorry to nag you Howard, but with this new version, I seem to be experiencing a C++ runtime error. "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact...blah, blah, blah...."

I don't see any entries in really in the logs upon its demise (in fact nothing in the error log) and I even ratcheted up the debugging. I notice it hits around 1.6GB of RAM before it dumps.

System is well stocked with NTFS5 filesystem that has loads of room, a 64-bit OS and 8GB of RAM. I am doing a * wildcard search in a NG that is comprised of 2.7GB of cache. Hey, I wanna see everything...!

What to do....?

Not sure why it's crashing at that point. It should get a little closer to 2GB. In any case, you should use the Max field to limit the results to avoid the crashes.

Hi The Dead Senator, I was just wondering if you were able to find any luck on this. This issue has been for a while already.

The 64-bit version will do better but still won't load an entire multi GB cache.
