New download behavior in build #54
I installed #54 and read the Historyinfo: "Downloads PAR files last".
I don't know why you programmed this 'feature' but I would prefer, when you make this 'fetaure' switchable.
I need it switched off.
I have lists with far more than 1 Mio articles per newsgroup.
When I download the postings and have to wait for the last article to get the needed PAR-Files, then I need some hundred gigabyte of HDD-Space more for the Attachments.:(
Also I have to wait very long, before I can repair with the PAR-/PAR2-Files.
Another ting: The menu 'Download order' in the Queue Window (mouse right-click) is not working correctly any more, because of this.
Solution: maybe you can put this feature in the "Download order" menu
- no Preference
- oldest first
- no Preference except PAR last
- oldest first with par last
For the future: When you insert new features that may collide with other existing features, could you please make the new feature/behavior switchable?
