Build 608 - Excessive Memory Usage

With build 608 installed my memory usage increases as each image is decoded. Deleting them with the viewer actually aggravates the situation, driving the memory usage even higher. If the viewer is open and decoding multiple images it eventually quits functioning (the viewer that is). With the image viewer closed the memory usage is normal. Running Windows XP Pro, SP3, quad core.

Build 609 is available. It now properly releases memory after changing pictures. I'm guessing the other problem was related to the memory usage so if it stops working again, please let me know.
