Trouble using Binary Boy with Windows 7

I recently bought a new computer with Windows 7. I installed
Binary Boy using my initial file (bbst.exe), then loaded version 1.96 build 1. I configured my newsgroup, password, etc as it was before. I started the program and asked for it to download the newsgroups. (Giganews). It will not download any newsgroups. It connects. I get the message it connected with the IP address. There is a message that it is downloading all the newsgroups, but they do not come down. Am I doing something wrong? My account with Giganews is in good standing. I checked. Binary Boys was working fine on my old computer. Any help will be appreciated.

First, let's make sure we're talking about the same thing. This happens when you click the Newsgroups button on the toolbar, right? If so, I've heard of this happening a couple times but so far no one has sent me a log. If you'd like to send a log, do this:

[LIST]
[*]Click the Start button and enter: binboy.exe -LOG -ILOG
[*]Click the Newsgroups button on the toolbar
[*]When it finishes (or after you wait several minutes), click File | View Log. Send the log information to support at binaryboy.com and I'll look into this right away.
