BB Freezes

I just updated to build 601. BB works fine until after I select files for download. Once I do that; I cannot do anything until after the files are downloaded. Right mouse key will not work, I cannot min the program, continue with other file selection etc... Any suggestions on correcting. I am using Vista with SP2.

Did this happen with your previous build too? Do you remember the build number?

Try running Binary Boy from the Start button like this: binboy.exe -LTP -2

I don't remember on the previous build. I tried using binboy.exe -ltp -2; that did not help. Suggestions?

On the Logging tab in the Settings, make sure all disk logs are unchecked.

On the Privacy tab in the Settings, try using Delete or Recycle instead of the overwrite options.

Clear the Folders tab in the Settings.

Are you running any antivirus software that might be scanning each downloaded file as it arrives? If so, that can cause Binary Boy to become unresponsive as it waits for access to the files.
