Is forum search ok?

I've just joined, and tried to search this forum to see if my problem's come up before, and couldn't find anything. So I tried a search which should have returned at least one note.
I ran a 'simple' search for 'repaint' and it came back with nothing even though http://www.binaryboy.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6175 has it in the subject, and in the first note of the thread!

The search seems kind of picky. It finds it if you enter "repaints" with an 's' on the end.
