problems downloading

lately a lot of files i've downloaded (jpgs) are showing up as "(null)(SOME_NUMBER)"

im sure that has to be specifically indicative of something... how do i fix the software to prevent this from happening?

I don't immediately see this in the code. Can you give me a newsgroup and part of a subject to search for so I can reproduce the problem? You can write to support at binaryboy dot com or leave a private message if you like.
